My mom has been pushing me to maintain my grades ever since I started high school so that I could be accepted to a college and I did (Lincoln University).
Its my first year doing FASFA and other things for college, I start college this Fall August 18.
A few days ago I got a letter from the college that accepted me saying that they needed me to fill out my Federal Plus Loan Master Promissory Note (MPN) and instructions on how to do so online.
(Off-Topic) My mom has been no help lately in helping me do what I have to to prepare for college. Shes been arguing about not wanting anymore loans and things like that. It’s as if she doesn’t want me to go to college and instead just get a job and work now, after the fact she was the one pushing me in the beginning.
So the instructions in the letter for filling out the MPN online refer to clicking on "Parent Plus Loan" and using the parents PIN from FASFA. My question is can I have it so that the load is in my name and not hers so I pay them off when I am out off school.
Well I know you can, But how do I do so. The way the instructions are its like they are telling me she has to take the loan.
